About overton valley ranch

Overton Valley Ranch was founded in 1860, where faith, family, and cattle started our legacy. For generations, cattle have roamed free on over a thousand acres at our ranch. Currently, the ranch is operated by Tony Koontz, his wife Barbara Koontz, and his sister Sherrie McIntyre, and managed by his son, Kyle Koontz, and his wife Stephanie Koontz, who have four boys of various ages. Our faith and love for family drive us to provide a healthy product and build a customer base that finds it easy to trust who they buy their beef and other products from.

Daily, we are actively involved in our animals' lives. We have over 150 Angus cattle, hogs, lambs, goats, chickens, and horses. Their health, comfort, and overall way of life are of daily importance to us. Our animals are born and raised on our farm.

 

Our cows are grass-fed and grass-finished. All their food sources are all natural. Even our pastures are completely natural and chemical-free. Our beef is higher in vitamins A and E, omega-3, and glutathione due to our feed practices, providing a healthier product for our customers.
